Marine Technician-Mechanic

What you will be doing:

In our mechanical solutions division, this role involves operating underwater cutting, dredging, and cleaning equipment. You will be required to travel to offshore sites for operation, maintenance, performance checks, and equipment repairs during client projects.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring the safe operation of all equipment at the offshore site/client location, adhering to Green Line policies and procedures, and ensuring all maintenance activities are documented as required.
• Operating, performing functional tests, maintaining, or repairing equipment as required by the project or instructions, both independently and under supervision.
• Identifying potential hazards at the offshore site/client location, considering environmental conditions that may pose risks to safety, personnel health, or environmental protection.
• Collaborating with the client representative at the offshore site to plan, organize, and execute tasks, as well as participating in toolbox talks.
• Timely completion of all necessary documentation for marine operations, including but not limited to maintenance reports, project reports, work logs, timesheets, expenses, client satisfaction reports, damage reports, and preventive actions.
• Attending MS Workshop where required before equipment mobilization for inspection.
• Coordinating with QHSE to assist in investigations and reporting of failures, NCRs, and improvement opportunities.

What experience will you bring:

• A degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience operating underwater cutting, dredging, and cleaning tools using abrasive materials.
• Experience in repair, maintenance, and testing in an underwater environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills as a team player.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
